The Correct Order of Makeup

What Goes First, Mascara or Eyeliner?
Are you applying mascara before eyeliner? That little habit could be messing up your whole eye look .
Here is the rule– 1st line, then define.
When you try to put your eyeliner on after your mascara, it’s going to skip around and not create a smooth blended look.
This is because your eyeliner has to navigate through all of your lashes, which have already been thickened with mascara.
Don’t make it so difficult on yourself!
If you wanna have a smooth, streak- free eye makeup look, do your eyeliner first and then your mascara.
I think of it like this- you put your socks on before your shoes, and this is kinda like that.
When This Rule Doesn’t Matter…
Here’s the exception: if you’re applying eyeliner only to your waterline then it’s perfectly fine to do your mascara first.
Then, add your eyeliner on top and the eyeliner will blend naturally into your eyelashes.
