How to Make Eyeshadow Last All Day

Eyeshadow creasing is really annoying! You deserve better than to have your eyeshadow crease and wear off during the day.

Don’t worry, I’m going to tell you how to solve this problem. As a pro makeup artist, I only have a few favorite ride or die items that I recommend to everyone and I’m going to share with you one of them with you now:

To Keep Eyeshadow From Creasing Do This First

The best thing that you can do to prevent eyeshadow creasing and fading is use one of these. These are the MAC paint pots.

This is a cream to powder shadow. I use it on myself every day. I also use it on every single person that I put makeup on. Because if I put eyeshadow on, I want it to look smooth and blended and I want it to last throughout the day.

This is the Best Eyeshadow Primer

That’s what the MAC Paint Pots do. These are so much better than any eye primer out there on the market. Other primers contain mostly silicone, and while that gives a nice texture to the skin before putting on eyeshadow, it doesn’t help with longevity.

The MAC Paint Pots are a cream to powder shadow so you apply them, and then they dry down to a powdery finish.

Then, you can put your favorite makeup colors on top of the paint and it’ll just kind of locks it in throughout the day.
