Before putting on any concealer, Swenson recommends applying eye cream to your under eye area. “Skip an emollient cream in the morning, as the ingredients can cut through your concealer and cause it to separate,” she explains. “Instead, use an eye cream that is a lightweight, silicone based formula, which will fill in all the tiny lines around your eyes and create a smooth canvas for your concealer.”
